Course overview


MISSION: MuSeC aims at offering to its students an excellent preparation in the field of management of cultural and heritage institutions. In particular, it addresses different subjects promoting cultural heritage, creativity, cultural identities, traditions and values. The focus of the course is on the managerial and economic aspects of heritage management, within an international framework. Finally, the course promotes the cultural exchange between professionals working in different cultural environments by putting together students from different countries.


GOALS: MuSeC aims at helping students developing and enhancing their careers in the management of cultural events, institutions and cultural and creative industries. Using an innovative teaching method, it promotes the exchange of international knowledge. Learning units are organized paying special attention to knowledge transfer, contents and experimental activities; the teaching approach intertwines in-class activities with real-life experiences, studying also the case studies of relevant cultural organizations and cultural and creative industries.

FUTURE WORKING OPPORTUNITIES: MuSeC is designed for International and Italian graduates who are already working in cultural institutions or who intend to improve their preparation in the field of management of cultural institutions and heritage. It provides skills that will be useful to enhance their career and complete their education in the sector of the management of cultural organization and industries with an international approach.


In order to support this training we are organizing internships with some italian and international partners as ENCATC, Uffizi Gallery in Florence and many others.
